EDUCE HOME 5

The e250g is becoming a reality.

The "g" stands for geothermal, which will provide the heating and cooling for the the home.

Work has just begun drilling the 180 foot deep ground holes that will contain the closed vertical loops.

If we strike oil we certainly will let you know.

The closed vertical loops will connect to the basement located geothermal heat-pump.

In turn the geothermal heat-pump will deliver either hot or chilled water to ceiling mounted fan-coil units

The ceiling mounted fan-coil units limit ducting to very small areas, generally over washrooms.

And localized  modifications to the existing brick to accommodate natural light are taking shape.

The super efficient curtain wall and window system is scheduled to arrive from Germany this week and should be installed next week, in time for another update on the progress of the  e250g.
